Dr. Spencer Hauser
Dr. Hauser is a native Memphian. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville before returning to Memphis to work at the Church Health Center prior to entering medical school at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. After medical school he moved to New Jersey to complete his orthopaedic surgery residency at Rutgers University followed by a combined Orthopaedic and Neurosurgery Spine Fellowship at Duke University where he was exposed to a variety of spinal disorders.
He has been involved in multiple research projects related to the field of orthopaedic surgery and has also co-authored a textbook chapter in one of the leading spine surgery texts, The Spine.
He provides both non-operative and operative treatment for spinal deformity, spinal trauma, and degenerative spinal conditions. He has a special interest in minimally invasive spine surgery.
When he is not treating patients, Dr. Hauser enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter as well as playing hockey and golf.
