Dr. Owen B. Tabor, Jr.
Dr. Owen B. Tabor, Jr. graduated from the University of Virginia College of Medicine as well as receiving his Bachelor’s Degree from UVA. He completed his residency at the Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina as well as a research fellowship.
After completion of his surgical residency in North Carolina, Dr. Tabor came home to join his father in practice in 1999. A graduate of the Memphis University School, Dr. Tabor serves as the team physician.
Dr. Tabor has been involved in research related to hip and knee replacement including a long term follow-up study of unicompartmental arthroplasty.
In his spare time, Dr. Tabor can be found spending time with his wife Jeannie and their three children as well as coaching football, basketball, soccer or whatever the sport of the season happens to be.
